Gordon Young  worked with staff and users of Crawley Library and Registration Services to integrate columns, with the first sentence from well known books carved into green oak columns.

Workshops and a postcard project were run by Anna Sandberg to capture users favourite books, places and memories. Using this generated content Gordon will worked with a typographer, Why Not Associates to inscribe the solid oak columns within the new library spaces.  Anna created a gold leaf intervention within the new Celebration room.
