Hamptons International Art Series

Artist(s): Kate Peters, Siobhan Doherty, Joel Armstrong

Client: Hamptons International

As part of an ongoing project, Hamptons International has commissioned a series of photographs from recently qualified fine art photographers. The photography commissions have explored various aspects about the areas in which Hamptons work, but have typically focussed around the themes of home, place and identity.

The aim of these commissions is to:

  • create a library of contemporary art photographs that reflect the international and local areas that the branches serve.

  • help create a visually stimulating environment for both staff and customers.

  • support young photographers at an early and critical stage in their careers.

  • In the first of the series Kath Mac Daid was commissioned to make work for the Grosvenor Sq. offices; to date she has captured views of London and Dubai and a number of locations across England.

Prints have been produced for branch offices across the country and for the new head office in Grosvenor Square, with the selection of the permanent work being made by staff from each branch.

This project has developed on to a number of new commissions with photographers , Kate Peters, Siobhan Doherty and Joel Armstrong. A new series of international projects and an accompanying publication is also in production.
